Symbolism

Rhombuses: In embroidery; the rhombuses are the stairs, above is the panchan (sky), then the world where we live: the world of humans and below is the Xibalbá (underworld), it is darkness: infinity, that new world where we go when we die. The center is the union, the duality (man / woman, day / night) the place where we find ourselves, where we acquire wisdom, growth, support, spirituality.

Pyramids: The stairs of the pyramids is meeting with the brother, with the son or friend, the elders lead the other by the hand to teach the other the way of wisdom and when he/she is ready, then he/she can start his journey and instruct to the next one. It is daily life, growing in knowledge day by day, walking, stumbling until one day the chujlel (soul-wisdom) is acquired.
